I'm going to try to watch the cnn special called "The Muslims next door". I'm concerned about the content and also what image it will present to people who are very small-minded and also those who are anti-Islamic.
If we look at the population of Muslims vs the other religious followers in our community Muslims are outnumbered however there are only Muslims that are under the magnifying lenses. I wonder why? We don't question the skinheads and klans men that reside just down the road, nor do we mention the Christian hate groups and secret societies that somehow dodge the radar. But the Muslims next door spring out a lotof interest so lets see.

untitled

I'm searching for the correct titles and names for the book. I'm really inspired by Mata Angelou's interview on Oprah's OWN channel. She is an awesome person and a great woman.
I wonder what an one on one convo would be like with her. Just to hear her talk and verbally describe life and experiences through her looking glass!!! All I can say is that her story is humbling and pro-humane. She iz an incredible person. Better yet I'll quote her she is a perfect example of "GOD'S CHILD"...

Ok somebody wrong Fo THAT

I'm interested in seeing where do we go from here. Its not enough that snitching, and bitching had become one of the greatest topics in hip hop history (with the cats from the dirty south leading the way) but now we have rappers with ice cream tattoos. Ok did I miss something here? An Ice cream tattoo? Hmmmmm

Now I'm not the judge and to each his own but am I the only one seeing something wrong with this picture? Somewhere in the background I can here Dave Chappelle saying "They should have never given you N---- some money".

Lets set the record straight Ice Cream worked for Wu Tang because it was a song. Can you imagine O.D.B. promoting a damn ice cream tat. Or maybe Biggie. WTH is going on?!?!?

O Janet Oh

I have to admit I have always been a Janet Jackson fan. I absolutely love Janet (in every aspect of the word (shhhh don't tell nobody). I'm just a little confused of the uniform (or costume for a better choice of words) she decided to wear to the trail for the doctor accused of killing her and ours Micheal Jackson (still missing our brother). I'm just hoping that it was just a tribute to him.. I HOPE!.!

I'm not very fond of women dressing in men's suits, it just doesn't quite tickle my fancy and I'm certainly unwilling to attribute any extra attention to the image it presents. I'm just curious as to what was she thinking....

Anyway Ms Jackson (yes I'm nasty lol) I would love to see you return to the "Velvet Rope" image or even the "What have you done for me lately" for that matter. Honestly I would even deal with the larger image you presented in the Tyler Perry movie but just lose the suit (hmmm that's an interesting choice of words (I love that image lls).

What's really good Janet?.?

I'm Just saying

I'm just wondering how and why people take internet posts like FB Status' and Tweets on Twitter so damn seriously. Is it really that serious? How in the heck does one submerge yourself so deeply into this crazy way of thinking that everything posted actually pertains to or is about you? Are you really "THAT" important?

I'm just saying, if i was with someone that had that much time to spend on FB/Twitter talking about me then they definitely need to another job (plus a tiny slice of life to match it) and I definitely need another lover (love that Prince song btw).

People if you have to continuously go behind your partner/wife/lover/etc and read their FB and twitter accounts then its time to get a new relationship.. Or whatever it is that you are involved in lls.
