I was reading ab article about how many Muslims have voted for G W Bush during his 1st run in the presidential race. It also talked about how the Muslim community was so highly spoken of by the former president.

There was some interesting facts set by this particular journalist and it sent a different view of the former president so I read on to see what was next; I was waiting for the juice or the filler of the article.

Then it began to run off. They talked about how badly politicians began to pollute the religion of Islam and its believers. Nowadays this is nothing new but the they began talked of how Newt Gingrich compared Islam as a parallel to Nazism..

I thought to myself "My Oh My isn't that a heavy statement". Then I began to travel down a portion of the Christian-American's past;

It was these person's that (ordained in a ceremony lead by the pope) saw fit to capitalize on slavery in the name of Christianity. It was also this Christian nation that dropped an Atomic bomb on a nation of people killing innocent babies and others. It was also this Christian nation; lead by the klu klux klan that burned, murdered and tortured blacks and other person of color in ceremonies where they would perform prayers and perform religious rituals using Christ's name and the faith of Christianity to justify these horrific acts (just to name a few).

Although we can go on much longer it would not erase or change anything so my question is this? how can you continuously demonize any religion or any other nation when your hands are arguably the most blood-filled and corrupted of most the nations of the world and you have justified it through the very religion that you claim?

I do understand that doing the crime you have to do the time. What's sad it that most of don't see where this beginning come from. We have yet to realize that there is a greater picture and a hidden agenda that is more prominent than any drug.

We have to stop accepting any and everything and we have to stop turning the other cheeck. It was easy to teach us that thou shalt not kill while they were killing, raping and misusing our mothers and fathers all across this country.

The bottom line is how does someone turn their ways from being a gangbanger to being nominated for a Noble Peace Prize yet his life isn't worth keeping him alive regardless of what good his doing?

Just have a non-black person who has no respect for any non-white persons as a senator.

I watched them kill Tookie and I was unable to sleep that entire night.

How does the wolf blame the sheep for hating him.... It's bigger than what they show us. Anyone who has the potential to make a positive change for our people will have to fight this government like hell before he or she can get any where in this country....

people today are funny

I'm just wondering how people think. What contributes to their thought process and the way they digest conversation and opinion? Why is it that when I ask a question you automatically get on the defensive?

I think the world has gone mad. I think people have finally allowed their minds to fall victim to opinion and somehow neglect to look at reason.
Prime example is the media. Ok I'm all for personal view but how can you doctor up a scenario that can potentially cause someone's career to come to an abrupt halt. And the slap in the face is the no apology rule. Are you serious.

Then we are so quick to render judgment for Gay right movement when human rights have always been the greatest issue for mishaps and misjudgment since this country began.

What about religion? Although this convo can go on for decades I would like to ask what has happened to religion? What is the purpose for religion if this is all we can get from it? All of the person holding claim to these fixation in religion and we have one of the most corrupt nations on this planet. If this is what religion is teaching us; then religion has failed us... So what's next.

We have become cowards and suckers. Cowards because we are afraid of what we may lose if we stand up and suckers because even though we see the very things we need to address (including the veils and blindfolds place over our eyes) we allow pacification to become our oppressor. And we live in a period in time where corporate America has become the dictator over government....

I will end with this;
stop assuming that someone wants something from you or that someone is out to get you or even out shine you. More importantly stop thinking that someone is going to give you something. That's the same mentality we have when we choose our college, its courses and the particular degree we plan to obtain. No one teaches you to find a degree that will create your own success; only to prepare you to find your own job. Does that make sense? If you concentrate on what you have to do, you won't find time to entertain crap that cannot define who you are.

I'm venturing down a new avenue and seeing a new horizon. Not o mention I an building a better foundation starting with scrap and leftovers.
